Ryan Novak
Ryan Novak serves as the Founder, Vice President, and Executive Director at Better Back Nine. Ryan is currently enlisted in the Kentucky Air National Guard as a Drill Status Combat Controller and works full time at Blue Tide Aviation, a logistics company out of South Florida and the Bahamas. He served as an active duty Combat Controller, in Air Force Special Operations Command, from 2010 until 2020. In that time he deployed 5 times to over 18 countries.
Jason Mitchell
Jason Mitchell serves as the Founder and President at Better Back Nine. He has been a USAF Combat Controller for over 15 years. Jason has multiple deployments to combat zones and has served in senior enlisted leadership roles. He currently works in logistics management and continues to serve in the Air National Guard. When not working, he enjoys golfing, staying connected with the outdoors, and spending time with his wife.
Guy mosley
Guy Mosley serves as the Director of Golf at Better Back Nine. He joined in 2013 as a Combat Controller in Air Force Special Operations Command for 10 years. As things dwindled down overseas he started playing golf again in 2020, and found a real passion for it. He is a USGA member and a full time Honor caddie at the Dormie club and plays to a 1.9 Handicap. His love for the game has driven him to pursue golf full time and help veterans from the SOF community.
Zac bridges
Zac Bridges serves as the Director of Development at Better Back Nine. After joining the Air Force in 2002, shortly after the tragic events of 9/11, Zac spent an impressive 20-year career serving as a Combat Controller. He was medically grounded due to traumatic brain injuries sustained in combat operations and after serving in multiple senior enlisted leadership roles and made the difficult decision to retire at the end of 2022. Throughout his distinguished military career, Zac embarked on numerous combat deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq and Europe, providing unwavering support to Operations Enduring Freedom and Inherent Resolve. Presently, he utilizes his expertise as a Defense Contractor. Beyond his military service, Zac has nurtured a passion for golf spanning over 12 years, making him a devoted and experienced player.
